Arguably the most daunting, challenging and exciting period in a child's life is their
time at secondary school. This period encompasses many changes for children.
Not only are changes
in the academic approach through which subjects are delivered to them and examinations undertaken
that can shape the rest of their lives, but also their personalities develop as they progress
towards adulthood with an accompanying myriad of hormonal and physical changes.
This can be a difficult time for children in adapting to the many challenges that lie ahead,
both academically and developmentally.
At BAAT we have developed a wide-range of courses for delivery to both students and teachers that
help alleviate some of the issues arising from this transitional period and ensuring that
the maximum gain is had from their time in secondary education. The dual approach to our courses
enables both teachers and pupils to learn the most appropriate methods of delivering academic content for the
former, and receiving and applying academic content for the latter.
Furthermore, through the use of Emotional Intelligence techniques our courses seek to
engender a harmonious and productive learning environment for all concerned.
