Emotional Intelligence in the Curriculum
Objective and Purpose
This is not a training course but a system for any school that wants to take the
next step to Educational Excellence
Within the system is contained training for 4 specialist members of staff, 39 lesson
plans (13 per year) and a backup system to ensure that the lessons are embedded into a
full curriculum within the PSHE Faculty.
The aim is to train students in Emotional skills that will give them internal control over their
behaviour. Emotional Control is not achieved in the short-term, it requires the same
incremental approach as any other subject taught in schools.
"Training or Teaching the Emotions is a TOTALLY different process to teaching all other
school based subjects!"
"Behaviour and the Emotions can be taught like any other subject!"
